Ingredients for Lavash bread
- 500 gm refined flour
- 10 gm salt
- 8 gm sugar
- 5 gm yeast
- 30 ml olive oil
- 225 ml water
- 50 gm toasted crushed California walnuts
- 8-10 whole California walnuts to garnish
Preparations for Lavash bread
- Knead all the ingredients together well.
- Let the dough rest under a damp cloth for 2 hours.
- Make round balls of the dough weighing 70 gm each.
- Flatten, thin them out and cook in the tandoor.
- Once ready, garnish with California walnuts.
